HIMALAYAN SAFARI TOUR NEPAL

Day 01, KATHMANDU:
Arrive in Kathmandu. Upon arrival meet and
assist at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel
Day 02, KATHMANDU: Full day sightseeing
of Kathmandu city Today, you will begin your
tour by visiting Kathmandu
city starting from Kathmnadu Durbar Square;
or Hanuman Dhoka, named after the Monkey
God
(Hanuman).Magnificent temples, monuments
and courtyards that you will see around include
Taleju Temple, Jagannath Temple with its
struts
with erotic figurines, Kaal Bhairav, Big
Drum, Big Bell, and Kasthamandap; the wooden
rest
house which gives Kathmandu city its name.
At the apex of all the attractions sites
the
living goddess, Kumari – perhaps only
one living person in the world worshipped
as a Goddess by entire nation. Then you will
proceed to 2000 years old Swyambhunath Stupa
followed by Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath
Stupa.
Overnight at Hotel
Day 03, CHITWAN: Half
day for Rafting on Trishuli River and Jungle
Safari Today, we drive to Chitwan.
Half way down the Prithvi Highway we stop
at Charaundi for the thrills of White Water
Rafting on Trishuli River. After a brief
note
on rafting techniques and safety precautions,
you will be taken for river rafting. Until
we commence our trip at Kurintar. Then we
continue to Chitwan where Royal Chitwan National
Park is situated. This park is the first
and
biggest protected forest area that is spread
over 900 sq. kms and is home to wildlife
such
as rare one-horned rhinoceros, several species
of deer, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar,
fresh
water dolphin, crocodile, alligator, more
than 350 species of birds and finally the
Royal Bengal Tiger.
Dinner and overnight at jungle lodge.
Upon arrival and check in formalities are
completed, time permitting, there will be
a briefing on the day's program and the security
precautions before you proceed for jungle
safari on elephant back to view wild animals
in their natural habitat. A ride through
the
dense jungle on the back of this sure footed
giant is what makes the jungle safari unique
in Nepal.

Day 04, CHITWAN: Full
day of Jungle Safari
Today, from dusk till dawn you will participate
in various jungle activities such as nature
walk, canoe ride, jungle safari, village
walk etc. All the programs are formatted
only after your arrival at jungles depending
upon weather and other factors
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at
Jungle lodge/camp.
Day 05, KATHMANDU: Drive back to
Kathmandu from Chitwan via Daman
Today you will follow different route. First
drive 45 minutes eastward to Hetauda then
turn left and drive for some time to arrive
at Bhaise from where the first highway of
Nepal begins. This twisty highway that touches
a height of about 2500m at Sim Bhanjyang
is one of the best drives in Nepal. Daman,
which lies about halfway on this highway,
is perhaps the best place to view mountain
panorama as the longest stretch, about 400kms,
of the Himalayan range is visible from here.
You may spend some time here for lunch or
a brief stroll around. Then we driver further
2 ½ hours before we arrive in Kathmandu.
Afternoon is free for shopping or
other optional or individual activities.
Farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant
with cultural show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06, DEPARTURE
Free till time of departure and transfer
to the airport in time for departure.

Hotel Shanker on bed and breakfast basis
- 01 full day sightseeing tour of Old Kathmandu
city, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath

- 02 Nights twin sharing accommodation at
Hotel Gainda Wildlife Camp or similar on
full board basis along

- Half day raft on the Trishuli River with
picnic lunch on the River bank
- 01 Night twin sharing accommodation at
Hotel Shanker on bed and breakfast basis
- Dinner and cultural show in a typical Nepali
Restaurant

But excludes the following:
- Domestic / International airport tax and
air fares
- Expenses of personal nature such as soft/alcoholic
drinks and any kind of bills related to personal nature
- Extra expenses arising due to contingencies,
which is beyond the reach of Amravati Travels
- Insurance and emergency evacuation charge
- Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu except dinner
at a typical Nepali Restaurant
- All other services not mentioned above

with good ambience)
Chitwan: Gainda Wildlife Camp or similar
(Good Resort with good ambience)
Cancellation
Policy
1. The confirmed booking can be
released prior to 21 days, with no charge.
2. If cancellation arises less than 21 days more
than 14 days, cancellation charge will be 25% of
the total invoice.
3. If the cancellation arises less than 14 days,
more than 7 days, cancellation charge will be 50%
of the total of the invoice.
4. If the cancellation arises less than 7 days and
more than 3 days, No shows & Early
departures, cancellation charge will be 100% of the
total of the invoice. |
