Day 1- Porto
Arrival to Porto. Welcoming at the airport by our guide
and transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2- Porto/Penafiel/Peso
da Régua
Visit of Porto, the second most
important town of Portugal: the
old town, the church of St. Francis,
the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange
Palace and the famous Port wine cellars (visit and wine tasting). Departure
to Penafiel, lunch at the Quinta of Aveleda, «Vinho Verde» production
vineyard and farm, where after lunch, a guided visit will take place.
This wine is only produced in Portugal, in the region of Minho and
it is a dry wine. Departure to Peso da Régua, driving through
the vineyard region of Pinhão. Dinner and accommodation at the
Hotel in Régua.
Day 3- Peso da
Régua/Viseu/Buçaco/Curia/
Coimbra
Departure for a visit of a production farm of
Port wine and Douro wine, «Quinta
da Pacheca» located in the region of Peso da Régua.
Lunch in a typical restaurant in Viseu.
In the afternoon, visit of wine cellars in the region of Bairrada
(in Anadia) with different types of wine tasting. Then continuation
to
Coimbra passing through the national park of Buçaco.
Dinner and accommodation at a Hotel in Coimbra.
Day 4- Coimbra/Batalha/Nazaré/Óbidos/Lisbon
Tour of Coimbra, an old university town, charming and romantic, ancient
capital of Portugal. Visit of the Monastery of Batalha (masterpiece
of Portuguese gothic). Lunch in a Fish restaurant in Nazaré-
typical fishing village that keeps old traditions.
In the afternoon visit of the medieval town of Óbidos where
it is possible to appreciate the typical liquor «Ginginha».
Dinner and accommodation at a Hotel in Lisbon.
Day 5- Lisbon
Visit of Lisbon, one of the most charming capitals of Europe: downtown,
St. George’s Castle, the district of Alfama, Belém and
the monuments directly related to the Maritime Discoveries, the Monastery
of Jeronimos and the Coach Museum.
Lunch in local a restaurant. In the afternoon, free time for personal
interest activities. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.
Day 6- Sintra/Colares/Cabo da Roca/ Cascais/ Estoril/Lisbon
Day dedicated to the visit of Sintra and surroundings, including
the Town National Palace. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon
visit of wine cellars in the Region of Colares (with tasting). Return
to Lisbon, passing through Cabo da Roca: the most western point of
continental Europe, Cascais and Estoril, known sea resorts. Dinner
and accommodation at the Hotel in Lisbon.

Day
7- Lisbon/Azeitão/Arrábida/Évora/Lisbon
Departure to Évora, crossing over the «25th of April» bridge,
on the way to Azeitão, small village located in the beautiful mountain
area of Arrábida and visit to the wine cellars of «moscatel» wine
in Azeitão, with tasting. This is a type of generous sweet wine, produced
only in this part of the country.
Lunch in a restaurant in Évora and visit Museum town of Portugal surrounded
by walls of the Roman times, considered by UNESCO World Heritage. Visit of the
Cathedral, the Roman Temple and the Church of St. Francis with the bone’s
Chappell. Then visit of the farm «Herdade do Esporão» in
Monsaraz, with tasting. This farm produces one of the best wines of the Region
of Alentejo.
Return to Lisbon for dinner and accommodation at the Hotel in Lisbon.
Day 8- Lisbon
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport of
Lisbon. Assistance with the boarding formalities
and departure. End of our services
