Day 1: Arrival Caracas
Reception at airport and transfer to our
hotel.
Hotel Avila, Category: 3 star. Location:
In the residential area of San Bernardino,
at the foot of Avila mountain. Features:
113 comfortable rooms with ceiling fan, swimming
pool, tennis courts, and an open-air colonial-style
restaurant and bar.
Day 2: Caracas
After breakfast we visit the Ciudad Universitaria
de Caracas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afternoon at leisure.
Description of Ciudad Universitaria
de Caracas, by UNESCO: The Ciudad
Universitaria de Caracas, built to the design
of the architect Carlos
Raúl Villanueva, between 1940 and
1960, is an outstanding example of the Modern
Movement in architecture. The university
campus integrates the large number of buildings
and functions into a clearly articulated
ensemble, including masterpieces of modern
architecture and visual arts, such as the
Aula Magna with the "Clouds" of
Alexander Calder, the Olympic Stadium, and
the Covered Plaza.
Day 3: Caracas – Canaima
Breakfast
at hotel, and transfer to flight to Canaima
National Park. Reception at airstrip
and transfer to our lodge for a 2-night stay,
including all meals.
Parakaupa
Camp Category: Lodge. Lodge Located
at the border of the savannah, near Canaima
village. Features: 15 basic but comfortable
rooms with ceiling fan, and a dining area.
Lodge is very friendly and personalized attention.
It includes the 2-minute transfer between
the airstrip and the lodge.
Day 4: Canaima
After breakfast we make an over flight of spectacular
Angel Falls, the highest waterfall on earth!
(Weather permitting). Afternoon at leisure.
Time to relax at Canaima lagoon and enjoy the
magical surroundings, or choose from a variety
of optional excursions.

Description of
Canaima National Park, by UNESCO: Canaima National
Park is spread over 3 million ha in south-eastern
Venezuela along the border between Guyana
and Brazil. Roughly 65% of the park is
covered by table mountain (tepui) formations.
The tepuis constitute a unique biogeological
entity and are of great geological interest.
The sheer cliffs and waterfalls, including
the world's highest (1,000 m), form a spectacular
landscape.
Day 5: Canaima – Caracas – Coro
Today we fly, via Caracas, to Coro. Reception
at airport and transfer to our posada.
Posada El Ojito Category: Posada.
Posada Located in the village of Tocópero, 40 minutes
from the city of Coro. Features: 10 comfortable
rooms with air conditioning, swimming pool,
tennis court, and open-air restaurant and bar.
The virgin private beach (with rough waves)
can be reached by walking through an idyllic
coconut plantation, part of the posada and
owned by German-born Dirk Demant. A beautiful
place to relax & from where to explore
colonial Coro, the famous sand dunes, & the
tropical forest of Sierra San Luis National
Park.
Day 6: Coro
After breakfast we will visit the town of Coro,
and afterwards head for the Médanos
de Coro, Venezuela's mini-Sahara. Description
of Coro, by UNESCO: With its earthen constructions
unique to the Caribbean, Coro is the only surviving
example of a rich fusion of local traditions
with Spanish Mudéjar and Dutch architectural
techniques. One of the first colonial towns
(founded in 1527), it has some 602 historic
buildings.
Day 7: Coro
Breakfast, Day at leisure. Enjoy the beach
of Posada El Ojito!
Day 8: Coro – Caracas
Transfer to airport and flight to Caracas.
End of services.
Reservation Conditions.
Reservations shall
be made at least thirty (30) days before the
trip after the customer makes full payment
for the package price.
Cancellations and Sanctions.
Cancellations
shall be accepted upon a written notice forwarded
at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance
by the Client. In case the Client fails to
travel as agreed, the Agency shall reimburse
the remainder of the installment, following
deduction of the expenses on account of cancellation,
and a working fee of 10% for the Agency, plus
the maximum amounts as follows: a) If the Client
waives the trip from eleven (11) to fifteen
(15) days before the date of the trip, ten
percent (10%). b) From six (06) to ten (10)
days before the trip, twenty percent (20%).
c) From four (04) to five (05) days before
the trip, thirty percent (30%). d) From two
(02) to three (03) days before the trip, hundred
percent (100%) amount would be lost in case
of cancellation between 48 hours to the time
of departure for the trip.
Remark: For last minute cancellations,
it must be taken in consideration that our
office is
closed on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays.
